Mixed-media on vintage Spode ware board (304 x 298mm) from the Spodespiration series.

Mixed acrylic colour akin to the ‘Spode blues’ and paper ephemera used to create a 6 section abstract inspired by the number of towns in the Stoke-on-Trent federation. Cut sections of vintage Spode ware board found on site at Spode Works used as the artworks’ base surface with an impression of the River Trents’ course through the towns, hand pressed into the board.
