A group exhibition at Fronteer Gallery, Sheffield, UK featuring over 40 artists each looking at stones in a variety of artistic styles and disciplines. A deceptively broad theme, with artists using the notion of stones to express a wide variety of ideas, including landscape, architecture, history, folklore and portraiture. A common thread running through the show, however, is how the concept of stone firmly connects artists to their environment and to the wider world around them.
